The Daly City Firefighters have a long history of working hard for the community and providing top level care to the citizens of Daly City.  The job of a modern firefighter is more complex than ever given the changes in population, building construction, modern furnishings and more. The demands are ever increasing, as is the size and needs of our community. 

Did you know that our jurisdiction has become the largest  in San Mateo County? While our city grows, we remain consistent, delivering care with the  highest standard, and doing our best work with the resources we have. Along with responding to a variety of emergencies, you will find us out in the community, working with local groups, homeowners associations, community leaders, clubs and residents.
